I had some records stolen a couple weeks ago. Not sure who took it or what gig it was stolen at. I was fucking PISSED. So I did what I usually do when Im mad I drove to RecordTime and blew a good $100 on vinyl. That made me feel a lot better. Then I bought a $70 locking record tote made of diamond plate for my expensive vinyl.

The reason I bring it up now was because something totally cool happened!

One of the records that was swiped was DJ Marquis' "Detroit Party,

(You know the track... "Detroit, where the party at? RIGHT HERE! Detroit, where the party at? RIGHT HERE!....)

So I put a call into NuFlava Records to see if I can order a replacement for this out-of-print vinyl. DJ Marquis HIMSELF calls me back today! How cool is that? I'm getting a replacement in a few weeks.
