ok, work, busy busy busy....blah blah blah.
my ipod finally came fed ex yesterday, and i couldn't be happier. 40 gigs of indie goodness. actually i've only used up half of it, which is actually cooler. i have the apple software and 3,946 songs clocking in just under 20 gigs. i couldn't believe how fucking fast that thing is. all of that transfered in less than an hour.
i just noticed (in someone else's journal ironicaly) that elara's profile pic is different. teach me to look up at my favorites a bit more often.
tomorrow's 3 weeks sober, so all is well here. hope you are all just as well.
Question- what would be the first song you would listen to after loading all your music into an ipod or other mp3 player?
mine was "life's a bath" from the rarest and most beautiful album i have....John Frusciante's "Smile From the Streets You Hold"

and that was only sort of the aftermath of the party - it was more just the daily aftermath of living in my house. which is kind of like a party, a lot of the time, i suppose...
And I would play the closing theme to Casablanca, because after all, it would be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
