Cool night at The Rock Shop ...Hoss is a good band and they remind me a bit of Hum, but without Matt Talbott's droney vocals circa 1985 You'd Prefer An Astronaut and like a Stoner Edge to it...good shit....

My new band plays our 2nd show next Thursday...Matt from Planet Delirium is recording it, so maybe we'll have a snazzy live CD soon....
Rick James died and it dawned on me once again that when I was like 11 or 12 the first concert I went to without my parents was Rick James, Frankie Smith, Atlantic Star, and Cameo at the Milwaukee Colliseum (rip)....kind of a bummer...rest in peace, Super Freak...
