I hate my job. I am finally submitting my two week notice tomorrow. I'm going to move to Maui and draw all day and sell my artwork to the tourists and live happily ever afterI sure know how to dream. Anyway, I drew this yesterday on my break at work. It's called "It doesn't grow on trees". It goes along with the saying "money doesn't grow on trees". I included a few more things in the drawing aside from the money bag. Love doesn't grow on trees and neither does trust and knowledge, you have to work at it. I hope you like it. I would love to know what everyone thinks.

But Maui?!?!?!? I don't know. I've never been there. Only the Big Island. My uncle is a coffee farmer there. I've found it to be an EXTREMELY sad and depressing place. Beautiful-- EXTREMELY beautiful, but heavy as fuck, quite honestly, especially when you're driving around the island having a nervous breakdown and listening to Israel Kamakawiwa'ole. They say Maui and Waikiki and all that is more lively and hoppin, but I've never been there. Judging from Kona/Hilo, and the Big Island, though, I've crossed it off of my list of highi-priority destination spots. But if you think tourists will buy your kind of work there, go for it. Hell, go for it anyway. I don't think you'll need to sell to tourists. There are other conduits to make a living from art there. And you're talented enough to go anywhere. Lots of Japanese food there, and Saimin is good and addictive-- you've probably never had that before. That's something you can't get over here.
Charge! Full steam ahead!
Good luck. Keep us informed.
