Hi SG Cuties! 😘
I hope you are all well and have full hearts during this month of affection. I am super excited to share this week’s Blog Homework with you!
February tends to be a month that I see to be both welcomed and abhorred among the people I am surrounded by. In many ways, I understand both sides of the spectrum. Personally, I find Valentine’s Day to be a tad superficial. But let’s not be mistaken, I’ll jump at any chance to be a total cheeseball to those of whom hold my heart.
This year, I’ll be making a fresh batch of good, old fashioned, organic
❤️LOVE ❤️ (Leaping bunny certified 🐰)
and throwing it out into the universe like confetti.
I hope you enjoy my secret recipe. It’s been handed down from my family for many generations.
My Secret Recipe for Love
What you will need:
• One big tender heart
• An open mind
Preheat your mind, body, and spirit to 98*F
Ingredients:
• 2 cups compassion; sifted
• 1 cup confidence; of yourself & of others
• 1/4 cup of Semi Sweet chocolate chips (optional, can be replaced with your favorite fruit)
• Two large senses of understanding cracked and added to mixture; empathy and sympathy are my favorite for this step!
• A dash of rose cardemon to ensure your ability to listen with mindfulness and respond from the heart
• A pinch of silliness, this will ensure the balance of the mixture — preventing it from becoming suffocatingly sweet
• 1 tbsp of self awareness, to ensure that you are equally passionate and compassionate for yourself as you are for others.
Stir your mixture until it creates a smooth consistency! You don’t want any lumps in this recipe, all ingredients must be blended harmoniously. Use a teaspoon to ball up the batter and place each ball 1” away from the last. Bake until the edges are golden brown! And let sit for 10-15 minutes before serving.
IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Many others may become greedy with your Love. Always be sure to save enough for yourself. Repeat this process daily to be sure that your well of love never runs dry. And never let anyone make you feel like your love cookies aren’t good enough. Your cookies are the best. No shame in keeping your cookies all to yourself at times. You deserve your own love first and foremost ❤️
Thank you @missy & @rambo for allowing me the chance to be super lame and show the true cheeseball I really am.
