Hi SG Land!
This week's blog homework topic is: How do you stand up for what you believe in? And I couldn't be more excited to hear what activates all of you to educate, acknowledge, and fight! So please, do tell me in the comments!

For me, my greatest belief is COMPASSION for all things. I don't like to lump into categories, because I truly believe all beings are connected. Plant life, man kind, animal life, sea life , etc. We are all one 💚 If I practice compassion in one field, I try to hold myself accountable to carry it through to all fields. My favorite ways of outwardly manifesting compassion amongst all beings are veganism, recycling, donating, volunteering, and educating on why these acts are sooo important!
Human kindness can save the world. Our planet has been dying from greenhouse gases and pollution for quite some time -- eating less animal products decreases funds supporting factory farming, shopping recycled and donating clothing lessens the amount of noncompostable fabrics thrown into our landfill, decreases support of chemically maintained cotton farms, and helps clothe those who are struggling. This is a BIG deal people!! Have you ever seen video footage of the villages in other countries that are surrounded by sweat shops and cotton farms? Did you know that fatulence from animals imprisoned in factory farms is responsible for MORE greenhouse gasses than automobiles? Have you ever asked yourself whose little hands mined that gemstone you're wearing, or where your fashion and accessories/beauty products really came from? Do you know how often and how many creatures are killed by ingesting plastics in the ocean? How would you feel if I told you that the leading cause of skin conditions now is pollution, and not UV rays? 💔
The less pain and suffering that we cause will in turn smudge the cruel energetic vibrations being released into the universe. If we could all nurture our planet so it may continue to emit negative ions to bond with the pathogenic positive ions (SCIENCE, bitches!!) it would balance our environment energetically and physically. If we just practiced mindfulness in every action we take, our world could know peace. Did you know that mindfulness can also cure stress based illnesses! (look it up: MBSR) I truly believe that there would be less hunger, disease, war, and suffering if we all supported the voiceless. And the voiceless encompasses everything from our planet to our fellow humans.
So I urge you to give your local homeless humans some change/food/supplies. Maybe buy a water filter instead of that crate of plastic bottles on your next trip to the store. Moderate how often you ingest animal products, and look for the leaping bunny when you buy beauty or hygiene products. Support ethical farmers, artists, and designers. And just exude compassion as often as possible ❤️💛💚💙💜💖
