Hey guys,
So it has been about a year since I last was on my profile. Yes I vanished and didn't say bye to anyone and obviously I didn't say why. Well, while shooting my last set over a year ago, Baby Blues, a little after we conceived. It was really shocking for both myself and Dustin, but also a blessing to have an opportunity to be parents. I had weird cravings from the beginning, maybe they're not entirely weird. I was obsessed with chicken ramen with tons of butter in it, and banana peppers....I ate hot wings almost every day from this bar called Mugsy's (best wings ever I might add anddd I still love them, to my surprise). I did shoot another set around May-ish of last year, but we never got around to posting it. Which is sad, but okay. On a brighter note, shortly after in June we found out if our little monster was a boy or a girl....WELL ITS A BOY! We wanted a boy, well for my sake I wanted a boy. Dustin is the only male to pass on his last name and honestly I didn't want to have 20 kids before we had a boy, extreme exaggeration, but after 9ish months our beautiful son came. I developed preeclampsia and didn't notice how sick I was until my doctor told me that if I was pregnant much longer he had no doubt he would have lost both of us. So, on October 30, 2013, I was sent to the hospital, but wasn't induced until about 11:30pm. On October 31, 2013 at 9:51 am our beautiful son was born. I only pushed for 15 mins and he was here! Pretty easy labor I must say! So, here he is, the love and new man of my life, Asa Christopher-William Asetre Mathews. His name is so long because my mother and I had a huge fight that I didn't put my last name and Dustin's last name together, since we aren't "married", but whatever it's fine his name has a lot of character ;)!
This was him before Christmas time, we did his newborn pictures a little late...he was about a month and a week old here. Kraven SG did his photos! And they are beautiful.
This is him and his beautiful cousin Lainey, I was baby sitting this day before Lainey and her mother moved to Arizona, lets just say they decided to give me a hard time and daddy had to leave work 2hrs early...
Dustin's dad got Asa his first fishing hat and a silly pacifier.
This is his favorite toy...he has to play with it everyday.
And yes we got him a red nose pit bull....His name is Jango and they're bffs.
So, yes this is my handsome little man. He is currenly 6.5 months and almost crawling! He wants to walk more then anything though. c: I love him to pieces.
But maybe some random day I'll come back a submit a new set, but for now my title is just being a mom.
