Lately I've been thinking about how dissapointing the 'modernized' English language has all but eliminated any semblance of literacy from what it used to be. So I'm going to start a one-man crusade to evolve my speaking and writing to what I consider 'more' passionate. If only sarcasm and irony could be portrayed with varying degrees of subtlety across text form. Without either bashing you in the face with the obvious, or completely falling flat on the ground before reaching you. You nonspecific, faceless 'you'.
You ask me "oh god why?"
"Because I'm God, that's fucking why."

Passionate . . . Shakespeare? I think that would be a little over the top.
