we can start a war in a day, but can't help our own people in less than 4
what if patriotism wasn't born through blood?
and it didn't take 2,973 lives to stand united as one
what if my faith didn't die on a temperate september tuesday?
my finger still points at the government, regardless of what the elected offical fools say
what if the decendants of slaves got their restitution?
what if the muslims got their rightful control of jerusalem?
what if history never repeated itself?
would my family be born from somewhere else?
what if the I.R.A were never called terrorists?
and england stayed home and never displaced the separatists
what if we were more than just witnesses to history?
and rewrote the books and omitted all the misery
what if my words read past your eyes and touched your heart?
would you stop watching CNN and let this revolution start?
