That's a customised Puma Clyde, and I get to spend the whole day today surrounded by everything the Great Walt 'Clyde' Frazier ever endorsed through Puma.
For all yall that don't know, Walt was the point guard for the New York Knicks back in the day. He earnt his nick name Clyde for two reasons- 1/ his high end off-court style and fashion resembled that of Warren Beaty in Bonnie & Clyde, 2/ His catch phrase was " I steal for a living", as did Bonnie & Clyde.
Puma has decided to send an exhibition of all things Clyde all around the world to showcase both the man and his Puma product legacy and tonight is Australia's turn. IT'll be a big hoo-ha with RuCL and Katalyst performing a song written exclusively for Puma, Wicked Force breakers perform live, The Mighty Pairs and Claudio have done up some dope paintings for display and the actual Clyde displays are fucking awesome- old school New York stylin! Sometimes, I love working at this place!!
For any Melbourne heads out there, go check out the display from Thursday 2nd through to Sunday 5th at the Chapel Street Puma Concept Store. I aint sellin this on yall, I just LOVE shoes...... heaps ! ! ( haha ).
