have you ever come to the realisation that you just don't want to be friends with someone any more? someone that you see every day, someone who you've helped, fought for, cared for?
i don't like to judge people if I can help it, because i know that deep down we're all just doing the best we can for ourselves. it's human nature to do what suits us best, and it's also natural to underestimate the negative impact that it might have on other people. it's a survival mechanism.
which is all fine, i understand that. but man, some people are so hypocritical. i've been shaking my head about this for over a week now, and i just can't find it in myself to forgive it.
there's no point telling the story; i doubt anyone is reading, and anyway it's a story that's played out a million times before. at least i'm not the one on the receiving end of it. but out there somewhere is just another guy, about to get badly hurt by just another girl, who constantly accuses him of lying to her, not knowing that all along she's doing to him exactly what she is accusing him of. only worse.
so i don't have to judge. but i don't have to play either.

That's one thing that we have in SA that everyone else wants - the best weather in the world. Technically, you could spend the whole year in a short sleeves and barefoot (that's if you have a bit more padding than I do).
