Arrrr. Well, I was HOPING that this year would start off good for me, but I'm not feeling all too great right now.
I suppose there is some good to it, but moreso bad.
The good news is that I get a nice 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 week break from work. The BAD news is that its because of the surgery I had Monday morning to get my appendix removed. On top of that, not working for a few weeks will seriously cut me close to not being able to afford my rent and other bills, AND i'm pretty damn sure that my hospital bill wont make me very happy. With all the IVs, painkillers, an overnight stay, an enema/colonic, a catscan, and surgery, I know for damn sure that I'll be paying this bill off for quite awhile.
It just started Sunday night while putting my computer together. (Yeah, the same day I spend $300 on new computer parts, I have to go to the hospital... figures.) Anyway, during the last part of installing windows, my stomach started killing me like it did when I had my kidney stone, so I figured that I probably wound up having another one. The pain was getting unbearable, and I couldnt possibly drive in that much pain, so I called my parents at 2 in the morning to take me to the hospital. To make it short, to find out what was wrong, they needed to give me a catscan, but needed to give me the enema/colonic (Yeah... NOT FUCKING FUN. HELLO BIG SHAFT IN MY ASS WITH INFLATING BALLOON SUCKING MY INTESTINES INSIDE OUT.) they told me that my appendix was swollen, about to rupture, and that I needed surgery to get it taken out ASAP. Its crazy how I can only recall laying on the operating table being poked with needles and a couple seconds later you're waking up after the surgery has taken place.
I'm at my parents house now typing all of this, so I should be back home tomorrow morning. I'll also put up a picture of my fun little wound.
Argh... it hurts to move.
