Awww...I love it when you have a group of awesome days bunched together, the last few have been SO fun...pity it can't last forever. After the shit luck I've been having, I bloody deserve it!
After a Saturday night/Sunday morning dance session with my friend, I made the foolish decision to stay up ALL night (thinking I stood zero chance of going to a show on Sunday night which I REALLY wanted to go to), it turned out that I actually COULD go the show on Sunday night (Thanks to Roopie!<3). So I went. I was gonna suprise xfloorpunchx and just show up without telling him, but he came online about 10 minutes before both of us left and I couldn't resist. I hopped on a train and met Roopie by the venue. The show was so fucking awesome, the guitarist from Burning Skies' (the headliners, and old friends of mine) other, be-costumed side band opened, then Seventh Cross (another friends (and ex-boyfriends) and Luthiens boyfriends (no, not the same person) band), who OWNED the show, I love that band so much, think I've seen them 4 or 5 times in the last 3 months, it's awesome when a fantastic band comes from not-too-far-away...a friend of my boyfriend could see I was blatantly itching to get in there and dance so he gave me a shove (literally) and I got to it...for about 12 seconds, as I soon realised that beatdowns in short skirts are inadvisale! At least I tried (numerous times, with comedic results every time, I may have invented a new move, the stop-skirt-from-riding-up). Haha. Burning Skies were cool, it was welllllll good to see them again, I've seen the guitarist a few times at shows recently but I hadn't seen the rest of them for over 18 months...and I used to see them a LOT. It was superawesome catching up haha!
So anyway, due to unfortuate circumstances, I didn't stay with Roopie, so I ended up staying with the guys Gary was staying with...and gues who it was? Jessika! Haha. Yes, there were 4 SGs at a little local show in the middle of Bristol. What are the odds? I got a lift back to mine in the morning (well, afternoon) so it worked out better in the end, no trains, and...well, once again, Gary has ended up staying for another few days haha. It's great, he'll come for 2 days and end up staying for 2 weeks, I have seen him every day since last Tuesday and we've only spent one night apart...I THINK he's staying til Thursday but that probably means he'll go home next week...not that I'm complaining. [WARNING: EMO MOMENT] If one more person tells me how jealous they are of us for being so perfect for each other I may just have to explode with smug agreement haha. Lucky, lucky girl. Sunday was our 3 month. THREE MONTHS. Haha. It seems like SO much longer, but at the same time I think '1/4 of a year? Where's it gone?!' Either way, I think I've seen more of him in those 3 months than I have of anyone else ever, friend or boyfriend (excluding maybe my old best friend Tom, but he lived down my street), and it's fucking great.
Interesting Disco-and-xFloorpunchx fact - we 'got together' (well, we decided things were worth changing our relationship status on our internet profiles - NERDz0r) on the way home from a Seventh Cross gig, and we just spent our three month anniversary at a...Seventh Cross gig. Seing as we both totally adore that band, it's amusingly appropriate. The drummer told us that they'd better be playing at our wedding. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Sorry about the gushing, but I really am grotesquely happy right now. You know when everything just seems to be...right? I know it won't last, so I'm making the most of it. Its funny though, the happier I am, the more negative I get about other things, the things which annoy me (everything)...maybe it's because happiness makes me arrogant hahaha. But yes, when I'm feeling a little less like I want to kill everyone, I think I'll owe Gary and my friends apologies for screaming obscenities at the TV/computer/stupid fuckwits. Sorry guys.
ALSO, I have been making cake. I am a domestic goddess. Tomorrow I will teach The Boy how to use the washing machine seeing as, due to the unplanned visit, he has no clean clothes. How can you be 18 years old and not know how to use a washing machine? The mind boggles.
Apologies for the length of this entry. I shall leave you now and go play DOOM 3 on my brand new XBOX which I bought today (long with new straighteners, new shoes, new clothes... :blush

I wanted to go but I'm a complete twat when it comes to travelling and I'll end up getting hopelessly lost somewhere in Europe.
