Thank you to everyone who has been thinking of us and you guys know who you are. Thanks to Sara for filling in people with the details because I was kind of vague. I just didn't feel OK about putting those specific details on a "porn" site, even though to me, this site is not like that at all. It's a way to talk to friends when you can't talk to them in person.
Anyway, it's all going to be fine now, everything happened so peacefully and it was very good for my sister and I to both be there and it was really the best way I could imagine all this to go down.

I will be home to PDX on Sunday the 2nd. I'm coming in late that evening after we have a little Dia De Los Muertos sort of gathering out at Goat Rock on the Pacific coast in Bodega.

I'm sorry I'll miss the Halloween party, I was really looking forward to seeing all you kids dressed up and having fun.

I will still be going to the Disney weekend. I think it's just what I'll need.

oh, and another thing that's kinda cool is that a family friends father is a pilot and he may fly me home in his Cesna from the Santa Rosa Airport straight into PDX.
