i'm back in california for a little bit. working on my sister's wedding and trying to be a good maid-of-honor with all the events that apparently go with getting married. my sister and i are total opposites though, making this extra-challenging. i have never felt more out of place, socializing at the country club with all these women dressed in pastel suits talking about nothing but somehow making it sound like it's the most important thing in the world. i can put on a good face, though, and fit in when needed.... but holy shit this is going to drive me nuts....
