The last two months have fucking FLOWN by.
Burn, baby, burn.
And then, not two days later, it was time to clean off all the playa grime, don the leather and stillettos, and attend the release party for the movie I was in:
Talk about a crazy night - photographers, press.... it was a bit overwhelming.
After that was over, it was time to hop into another gear, throw on the hiking boots, and try to hike this baby:
Mt. Whitney is the highest peak in the contiguous United States, at 14,496 feet. I conquered 12,000 of those feet (12 miles of the 22 mile trek), and will be back to conquer those last 2,496 feet (I had to turn back - the high winds and cold weather was starting to get the better of me, in a bad way). Try as I might, it wasn't in the cards this year, but I will be back.
Then it was off to San Jose, to attend the always fun
Folsom Fringe event. Then, on Saturday, it was up to San Francisco to begin the real festivities for Folsom Street Fair. I got to see my extended Leather family, reconnect with old friends, and get my priorities straight - again.
On to the real news:
Big Announcement #1: I am retiring from Adult Work.**
Big Announcement #2: My life has improved tenfold (See Big Announcement #1)
**Consequently, I'm looking for some type of part-time work in the LA area to tide me over until I start school again in February. I am an excellent worker, actually have a bevy of professional skills, and am a quick learner. Pretty please will you contact me if you need or know anyone who is looking to hire some temporary help?
xoxo
