picture time!
Some of you may remember that I traveled to San Francisco in January, to visit friends and do some photo shoots. While video work is mainly how I make my income, I do enjoy when the opportunity arises for me to work with great riggers, and talented photographers. This trip was one of those occasions.
On the first day of shooting, our location was this bizarre health club/gym that had recently been abandoned by its owners (who for some reason had quickly left the country without notice - suspicious? oh yes). Anyhow, we discovered this strange contraption that apparently is used for pilates - and of course to our pervy eyes, we saw something completely different:
The next day was great - our location was this old steel cutting factory that was absolutely immense - there was broken glass and broken things everywhere, and we even had to watch our step as the floor had collapsed in certain places. So we avoided the floor entirely by hanging from the steel I-beams instead:
after I was up and hanging about, my rigger DeLano decided he wanted in on the hanging action as well:
Did I mention that it was freezing cold in this warehouse? Holy shit the things we do to get a good picture....
After the rope part was done, it was time for me to get in a few solo shots. I found this great room that I guess had once been an office, as there were notecards strewn about the place... I also made the photographer, Michele Serchuk super nervous as the floor in this room was partially collapsing... meh.
Last but certainly not least - gratuitous ass shot. yes I'm trying to crawl into a shopping cart. No, I don't know why.
