Here are some of the tables, lamps, and storage benches that I've designed and built over the years. A few of them I kept and the rest are in different homes throughout the United States. I didn't really start getting into making things until my mid 30's and once I realized just how much I enjoyed it, I couldn't create them fast enough. Once I replace certain tools that got worn out, there are many more items I am anxious to build.
This is a suspended shelf I made for my neighbors who are both doctors at the hospital across the street from my house. They want something different to got with their new big screen t.v. but didn't want something with legs like a regular t.v. stand. I made it out of 100+ year old house shudders that were stained and has a metal cap going around the front of the shelves. The metal caps were heated with a torch to create different colors in the metal and then they were clear coated and fastened with stainless steel screws. The shelves are suspended from the ceiling with metal cables and there is a small piece fastened underneath to hold the shelf against the wall.
This one was created using real MRI images of the spine.
This is a replica gated shifter lamp with a matching black and red key hook designed after my buddy's LP-640 Lamborghini Murcielago.
There are definitely some more that I can't find the photos of unfortunately. I definitely enjoy creating things that are more on the industrial side.
