I went to Joshua Tree, California for 4 days and nights. I stopped in Bakersfield, California on the way and visited the Buck Owens museum. I went to stay in the Gram Parsons Room at the Joshua Tree Inn, but I screwed up my reservation and changed rooms every night. I stayed in the Emmy Lou Harris, Room 5, and the Gram Parsons room. Grams Parsons died of OD in Room 8 at the Joshua Tree Inn. I've stayed in that room on two other trips.
Room 9 - Emmy Lou Harris room has a cool vibe like the Gram Parsons room and different kind of comfort
Nobody cares if you smoke weed in your private patio. I went to Joshua Tree National Park to hike, during the day. Weed is illegal in the park, because it's National. Marijuana is legal in California, but not on Federal property.
Gram Parsons had told his friends, when he died he wanted his body to be burned in the Joshua Tree desert. His friends stole his body from the airport, and burned it at Cap Rock. As you can see, it has a cap (hat) on the rock
That's the photos from 4 days of fun and music in the desert. Nothing much happened, just as I planned...
