I forgot over these past few months how good it feels to honest, hard work. Work where you get home exhausted physically, but fulfilled mentally.

The new job that I'm at (and forsee to be a rather permanent position until schooling can get under full swing) is building wellheads. Everything from little casing bowls with a single valve for pipeline control to complex production wellheads with 7500 psi working pressures with 10 to 15 components totalling over 2 tons of steel. After a couple months of training, I'll be going on call for wellhead installations in the surrounding area.
