Been doing a lot of introspection lately...and haven't really realized that's what I was doing until today. That's the real reason for my quietness. Haven't really figured out what I'm figuring out yet, but its mostly to do with redefining who I am and what I want out of life in my head...I've said out loud these things to people, but I guess I haven't really gone through the process in my mind to identify what I need to change in myself or what I need to do to fulfill these things. Hm...looks like another week or so worth of self-examination.

Went out to Fort Saskatchewan this evening for a small gathering of friends and friends of friends...sat around a fire-pit, ate some hot dogs and drank some beer. I smell like wood-smoke

I'm getting geared up for a job pretty soon...I got a heads up that I 'could' be going to work somewhere near the end of this weekend if there's a spot for me on the crew going up. If I do go, I'll probably be gone somewhere between 8-14 days...depending on how fast the drilling rig digs, and whether or not they're ready for underbalanced operations when we get there.

But I still won't know until the night before I'm needed to be on the plane at 8 in the morning. I guess that's the sacrifice I gotta make in order to make 350 bucks a day *shrugs*
