No lobster this weekend...Apparently les Iles is so busy with their tourist season that no shipments of lobster could fit onto the 8-seater planes flying out because of all the passengers.
So we celebrated father's day Alberta style - Steak and Beer!!!
Golf wasn't as bad as I'd thought it'd go. Even though I pretty much doubled the par on every hole, I managed to make some half-decent shots and did better than the other two guys who came with me and my dad.
Not at all bad for my first time golfing - EVER.
Found out some mildly bad news today. Encana Oil & Gas (the parent company of the company I work for) is sending 20 rigs back up to Fort Nelson today. Which means that in roughly 2 weeks time, my company'll be sending us back to work in the field. Which means its cutting close to the party in Calgary. And puts me out of the province for the Burlesque here in E-town. My only hope for now is that I'm somewhere on the bottom of the list and I get an extra couple weeks before I get shipped up north.
