The second half of yesterday went better, and today I was forced to call in sick and get a doc's appt to take care of something. We bought a coffee table this morning at the SPCA Thrift Store. Good deal. Table and a record player for 20 bucks.

I wrote my mom a long, self-pitying email about work yesterday, and she called me later in the evening (waking me from a much needed nap), and we sort of hashed it out. I was half asleep, but she did make me feel better.

I have a wicked headache. I'll pop an excedrin and bang out some of the chores I've been putting off. Poor disgusting bathroom. I need to clean it up so I can assemble and put into place the over-the-toilet doodad I bought last night,

I really need to stop spending like I've already been paid. My favorite places just keep having sales, and I DO need to build a work wardrobe. BAH. I will be miserly the rest of the month.

LOLBots have made my day. Move over LOLCats, my true love lies with LOLBots.



And I wonder why I never got laid in high school....
