I'm finally asking for things at work- my owed commission, and to change my tax filing status so I don't fuck up next year's taxes too horribly. And I may be leaving soon. Waiting to hear back about either of my interviews with the county is agonizing. Wouldn't be so bad if work was exciting. Today was dead and HOT. The AC at work either doesn't work, or is utterly ineffective. Suckage.
Maybe I'll get around to knitting that hat I tried to start last year, but didn't understand the pattern yet. I think I have a solid grasp on basic knitting concepts. Or maybe I should finish the caplet I just started, and worry about the hat once I have a finished, wearable object under my belt, rather than starting and abandoning projects left and right. Progress stalled on the caplet last night, as I noticed I had fucked up the raglan increases, and had to do a major tear out. Boo hoo. Now I can't find one of my needles, so... progress has been halted.
Just have to make it through work tomorrow, then San Francisco on Thursday! I should check if the MOMA's open, because I don't want to be disappointed when I get there. I mean, the de Young was pretty cool, and that observation deck thing was incredible, but I'm dying to see the MOMA. I missed the midcentury modern furniture exhibit a while back, and am still a bit miffed about that. Ah well. We'll do that, and probably shop. I've got to hit H&M again. Scored the cutest green shirt dress last time.
I'm being girly and gushing about shopping. This is a sign that the time has come to stop blogging tonight, and to go the fuck to bed. We've been staying up far too late recently. Not cool.
