The moving has been going well, and I think we've found a washer and dryer that's new and within our budget. So very exciting indeed! We've been spending our days off moving boxes, cleaning up around the new place, and shopping for necessities. Real glamorous, I know. We simply don't have enough hours in the day to have much of a social life.
We did manage to make time to see Texas Chainsaw Massacre:The Beginnings. I'm not so great when it comes to scary movies, and I spent most of the movie with my head in Bryan's arm. Scary. Gory. Not my cup of tea, but it did do a good job of being a scary movie. (In this blogger's humble opinion.) I am really looking forward to Marie Antoinette- Jason Schwartzman, NATCH!
I'm fairly certain I don't have to work tomorrow morning. Yay. I'm starting to get used to working both jobs, which amazes me. I do get super cranky and my feet bother me, and I start to lose my mind, but I adore the money that's been coming in! I actually have enough money to pay off my credit card, pay all my bills, and sock some cash away in savings! So that's a plus. But my coworkers at Cafe Hell are complete asshats. Seriously. I had an arguement with one because she insisted that a Great Dane was a good apartment dog. (Because, she said, they are slow and don't move around much.) Not to mention that they're all lazy fucks, don't pitch in when I'm trying to clean shit, and are generally assholish. Not everyone, of course. Just 75%. Yeah.
Woo, Project Runway finale tonight. Excitement!
I finished my second gift-scarf tonight. I love having gifts for people done. I am such an impatient knitter. I usually hate making scarves because they take too long, but this pattern knit up quickly. I lose interest if a piece takes too long. I hate planning- I love seeing things shape up quickly. The bear I made took me forever, but held my interest because it was many small pieces that I could knit up quickly in a few sittings. Also easier to knit on the go with something like that. I started working on a Panta (headband pattern that people love on Craftster), but have had to tear it out, start over, messed up the pattern because I got off a row, etc, etc. I really want to finish it, but now won't be the time. I'll probably start something quicker, or perhaps, start my first sweater. I've been meaning to try a sweater. Ah well.
I need to do dishes and pack them up. BLAH. Probably won't do them. Probably will disappoint Bryan. Probably will not give a shit what he thinks.
