Yesterday at work, the people in the back room were talking about giving blood. It was three college kids and one guy in his fifties. I was like "They won't let me give blood. I have a bunch of red flags. In the past six months, I've been on anti-psychotic drugs, gotten a tattoo, gotten my nipples pierced, and had unprotected sex with a man." The look on the old guy's face was priceless. I thought he was going to have a heart attack. I hate having to explain to people when I'm kidding. Especially since 80% of what I say at work is bogus. I think it's pretty obvious when I'm just being an idiot.
I'm kinda falling behind in school. I have to read Carrie and write a summary by last Tuesday and write a short story by last Thursday. Plus I have to read The Metamorphosis by Tuesday, do crappy logic homework by Monday, and do an astronomy extra credit assignment since I missed three homeworks already.
My boss tried to trick me and switched my schedule mid-week so that I have to work at 9am tomorrow. But that actually works well because I can see Leftover Crack at 5pm and then hang out with my friend who's visiting from England. That doesn't leave much time for homework, though... Hmm.

Carrie the Stephen King book? Rent the movie. The metamorphoses will take only a few hours (and here it is in a nutshell: guy becomes cockroach).

I recommend coming back to Kafka in your free time. He's kind of difficult, but really great. I'd also recommend reading Hawthorne's Rappaccini's Daughter.
