well glad the move went well. my did also. the new apartment sounds awesome though i don't know how much i would like the whole bathroom situation but we all make sacrifices....we made a few on our place as well.

There are some events at the union that I picked out to attend in these next few weeks, like movie night and stuff, in the union theatre, wherever that is. My list is at school, but once I get to look at it, I'll get back to you if there is something left that I don't decide to cross off at a second glance. I might have been in the mood two weeks ago, but now? Pfff..who knows.

Oi.. No internet and cable.. My sister and her boyfriend have neither as well.. My sister is SO bored everytime I talk to her. I hope that's going better for you at the time.

I'm not sure if it was acutally 2hrs but it was close. They are an amazing live band and if you can get to the shows in Chicago I completely recommend it. It would be very much worth whatever hassle it would be to get down there.

The people who protest it must be very dumb indeed. Who could protest saving your friend or family members life?! How can a father not allow his daughter a vaccine? How?!?!

Good luck finding a place to live. Maybe the dorms have openings? But I have been down there and a few places still had 'for rent' signs up.

I think it's alot easier to get a job during the summer at the campus and just keep it through the fall because alot of people who travel or live farther away for the summer can't just drive or walk to a building and get the job.

it turned out that, with scheduling, i couldn't get to wizard world chicago. so it was just lolla for me.

who wants to be a superhero is a fun show. i caught a rerun on bravo one day. it was a bit of a trainwreck: i wasn't so much entertained by the concept, as horrified by the contestants, and couldn't look away.

Yeah well I just freed the entire galaxy from Imperial domination in Star Wars: Battelfront II. So my accomplishments are bigger than yours by a factor of approximately 1 billion!

I once read the book Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I thought it was quite wierd, didn't really care for it.

Could be because once someone wears an article of my clothing, I don't want it anymore (germs, aaahh! ). But, atleast someone enjoyed the story.
I'm assuming the movie didn't venture too far from the book, from what I remember of the previews.

Our apartment doesn't have recycling either! it annoys the piss out of me. and there are at least 4 other buildings right in the same area. perhaps if we had recycling, the bums wouldn't be picking the cans in the middle of the night or plowing their stupid shopping carts across the gravel to get to the next jackpot. the cans would simply be in a separate bin and we could all sleep peacefully!!!!

i bring my recyclables to a place nearby my house. the bins are quite full now, so it's gonna be a pain in the back next time i have to haul them a block away...

hrmmm... oh well, i guess it's worth it, right?
