Haha..my sister was absolutely pissed that when she changed her status from 'dating' to 'single', everyone knew that things had gone to hell with her boyfriend and they broke up. I looked at her and was like 'dude..you could have just hidden the story from everyone and no one would know..' 'Oh..' I guess not many people know you can do that. On your profile page, where the news feed is for everything that you do, there's an X at the end of every row. If you click it, you can hide the story and no one will see it. It's nice, but I gave up after awhile of trying to remember to hide everything.

MySpace sucks pretty hard, but it's functional. And I've been having a lot of issues with the new SG. Comments don't display, pages don't load, shit like that. It's annoying and I'm trying to start using it again just so I have both MySpace and SG to network with. But honestly, MySpace hits almost all the same people I know on SG plus a ton of folks I know in the for real for real. And it's free. MySpace is designed to keep people in contact easily, so even if it's designed poorly it's better than a poorly designed stie that's set up to bring you porn and news stories.
In theory at least.
