Aruba was hot! We baked in the sun, played in the sand, swam in the ocean, cuddled in the pool, and ate at some very cool restaurants. We went jetskiing, rented a mini sailboat, toured the island in a rented jeep, got lost on the uninhabited part of the island, crossed the Arubian army firing range, and ate johnny cakes on a street with no name.
Aruba is hot. Africa hot. And seriously humid. Just when you think you can't take it - - you are rescued by a beautiful breeze off the coast. The sun was gracious to leave me a nice golden brown and bleach my hair just enough.
I was afraid to wear my usual string bikini with my protruding belly, but once we got there and took a look around, I realized I was probably one of the nicer chics to look at... even at 4+ months pregnant!
Best part of Aruba: the lizards
Worst part of Aruba: our room at the Radisson
To end my ramble, the baby is growing at light speed now. My belly button is already unrecognizable. My tattoos are twice the size. My chest is fucking enormous. I felt him/her do a somersault on Friday and I got my first poke today. Pretty trippy.
