My mom is staying with me tonight. She's flying in from spending the week dealing with her mom's funeral. 
I didn't know any of my grandparents except this one, and I have scant memories of this one: a present wrapped in white tissue paper under the chrismas tree, her sitting in a big papasan chair, a picture of her in her youth goofing around at the beach wearing huge emo-esque glasses, and a family reunion inspired by her 80th birthday.
So, I'm not too sad. But it is another relative I'll never know. I feel mostly bad for my mom. Her sister died of the cancer within the past year, too. I can't imagine having a year like that.
Anyway, I better sign off, before my mother catches me looking at the prOn.
