Smile...it'll past my time
What a shitty day off it has been...Really.
I've been sick all week, so, I'm really tired today and I didn't do much. From that fact, I've got yet another fight with a 'friend' of mine, who wishes to be more than that but I'm not sure and that kind of day shows exactly why. I'm not a funny/entetaining guy. I'M really self-oriented and I need a lot of time on my own. Being a huge intelectual and everything, I don't need a lot to be 'occupied'. A movie, a book, a good CD, that's enough for a day.
Most people don't get that...Result, I look heartless to them.
Maybe it's true, I have a tough time being open hearted with someone but really, who dosn't? Most people who claim to be 'open-minded' are really just fucked up individuals with too much word to speak that really dosen't mean much of anything.
So, like the perfect ten year old that I am, I've been shopping for Books and CDs to fill the void. The results were...
1- The Dears LIVE CD in LA...AWESOME.
2- Johnathan Lethem's new novel YOU DON'T LOVE ME YET
3- J.P. Donleavy's THE GINGER MAN.
So, I've been reading a lot today, for the first time in months, it's a super relief actually.
Oh, and it's friday and I'm not going out...why? Don't feel like it. Any plans anyone?
Oh, and I should go a buy some chocolate instead of beer.

A lot of people don't get it. Since I'm from a small town living in a really large city was a challenge. Maybe that's anxiety though, who knows. Sometimes being in a relationship can be really hard. It all depends on what the other person expects from you.
What is really hard....is actually getting other people who are different to understand why you need space/time.
