OK that's...uh...scary. Yeah I think about where that is..you're near Salamico and the Creamerie on Grande-Cote? I was going to say I don't know many anglophones in St-Eustache..at least I didn't know of many while I was growing up there. Where did you go to school?

Well, there we go. A good dose of hard work has helped me through my end-of-the-holidays doldrums. I still know that I have lots of decisions to make, and make very soon. I just know that beating myself up over things just won't help. Anyhoo, one more night here in Vaudreuil, and it's back home. I miss my own bed.
Damn, I can't even look...

Yea golf sounds like fun, I just hope I won't stick out too much. I've passed by Le Cardinale a few times, but I don't think i've ever been IN a golf course. I think i'd like to start off at a driving range, that is, if I can manage not to kill anyone with my swing. Si tu veut que j'arrange ta photo, envoi moi le et je vais te le re-sizer pour pas que ta tete soit aussi ecrasee. What part of St-EU are you from?

Yeah. Holidays are over. Celebrations are over. Now's the time when the dust settles, and you start to look around and take stock of things. I hate doing that. It's such a cliche, but I can't help myself.
I'm just going over and over in my head all the things I keep telling myself that I want to change. All the things I keep putting...

is that your real name? well if it is, I just find it ironic how both our journals were "recently updated" and how your username coincides with the journal entry I just wrote.

no offense though smile .

That's what I get for trying to do something other than pass a morning doing nothing but sit on my ass in front of the computer. Went outside for a bit. Forgot that I had run out of salt, and of course walked right over a patch of the driveway that I missed. I think my head actually left an impression on the pavement!
Everything...

Dog-sitting in beautiful Vaudreuil. What a cool-ass way to and the year! I think I'll take the little guy skating on the sidewalks, what with all that lovely ice covering everything this morning.
cathedra:
hey stop updating your journal..you're erasing my nice comments! *grrr*
dicklasalle:
Just trying to "appear" more active... smile

Yay! I now have 2 friends! Way to finish up the year strong! biggrin Maybe if I improved my communication skills and used this thing more often, I might actually get to know people. hmmm... surreal
cathedra:
well being your new friend and all...would you like me to resize your photo so your head isn't crushed?? email me your profile photo to cathedraa@hotmail.com and i'll resize it for you.
dicklasalle:
That's actually the way my head looks...seriously, I'm not at my computer right now, so I can't send it to you. Maybe when I get home. If you could do something about the hair, that would be great, too. wink

funny thing about living in Canada. If you want specific tests to show if that grapefruit-sized thing growing on your brain is, in fact, cancer, you have ot wait six to eight months. But, if you just want to see your GP to determine if you have something growing on your brain, it is, at least free to do so. If you can get in...

Fun week at work. Getting hit with a piece of copper heated to 300 degrees felt pretty much the way I figured it would. Yeah!
kolic:
Wow, fun. How'd that come about?
dicklasalle:
I work for a company that makes circuit boards. I apply a coat of a special kind of paint to the board, which is usually made of copper, among other things. In the curing process, the panels sit in a 300 degree oven for about an hour. There can be up to 15 of these things balanced on a rack, and if you're not careful taking it out...WHAMMO!! I'm real careful now...smile
