I've been doing work as a film extra... and finally got to see how squibs work- those things they put on actors that explode with fake blood when detonated. They're very loud and sound like a gunshot although they did not go off properly every time.

This was the view from the arena, while waiting to begin shooting...


Also starting my first day at the library tomorrow after class (at 3)... so excited! It took forever for the paperwork to be processed... bureaucracy & whatnot.

That is all well and good but it would be nice to be free to travel...
It's so sunny here that some days I don't want to go outside until the sun goes down; it would be nice to live somewhere farther north after graduation... I don't know. Missing autumn, winter, and spring a lot lately.

However, I do thoroughly enjoy the graffiti here...


I am grateful, still, for the sunset...
