Nothing like packing a bag and hitting the the road!
My friend, his two dogs, and I started off the new year by driving on a scenic three week long road trip from Oakland to Texas.
Made some amazing detours.
Hidden hot spring! Time to shed some clothes and go skinny dipping!
We took the scenic route down the coast of the Pacific.
Evil Monsanto Corp. is everywhere.
Winter was nowhere to be found durring January down in southern California.
The scenery moved me.
Vegas look out! Dice is Rollin into town!
Hotel comp!? Now that's living.
"Here, hold my shirt and take this picture! K, thanks."
Then on to Zion National Park in Utah.
Not just a pile of old rocks.
It was jaw dropping!
Karl has more of a sense of adventure.
I'd prefer not to plummet to my death.
And end up like him.
This is the tallest peak that you can climb up to. 4000 ft. above ground!
I only made it to there.
And managed to smile while looking down there!
The snow melt is what creates the waterfalls and emerald pools.
The way back was winding.
So much to explore.
We camped out ar Zion for a night then it was on to New Mexico and Texas.
And I was so happy to see my dog Boomer again in Dallas.
