Ok well it's Monday and I'm home! I got released from the booby hatch last night. I'm at work this morning, then going to the beach this afternoon.
I feel SO much better. They admitted me Friday afternoon to St. Joseph's Psychiatric Care Center and it was the smartest decision I made in awhile. My new psych, Dr. Feldman, rocks and he switched my medications around so that now I'm taking Geodan (a mood stabilizer + antipsychotic) instead of Seroquel. My mood has improved dramatically. I feel like old cheerful exuberant Anna again.
Now the challenge is, don't get TOO cheerful cause mania sucks just as bad as depression. But, I see Dr. Feldman tomorrow evening for follow up and then probably again at the end of the month. So, I don't think any mania will go unnoticed.
Anyways back to the grindstone so that I can escape and go to the beach later.
