I love a fun and creative shoot. And I seem to love to work with paint.
So I headed to this fun location my photographer friend (@dexamphetamine) found. An old house, with gardens and a tennis court.... that was now a public walking area. Super weird, but I like weird. 🤷
We decided to shoot some photos before I started applying the paint. My hair made it interesting to try some poses. I am OBSESSED with how my hair turned out. Like, if I could I’d have that hair all day every day I’d be happy. And my makeup was on point!
So we progressively added more paint, then more, then more. Each application I had to bounce up and down to get the paint to drip a little more. And then I got to glide my hands over my body to move the paint over my skin.
I felt like an alien goddess, exploring a new world for the first time. And to make it even better, an old man walked past and did a double take so I was all like ‘hey! How’s your day going?’ 😂😂 it was a highlight of the day. 👽👽👽👽
We walked around and it felt like 6 completely different places. There was ivy growing near stairs, a forest walkway, a gorgeous area with some trees and grass. Well, you’ll see.
I shot some polaroids (I’ve already sold two and given one to the photographer... and one will go into my instagram comp), and then tried to get the paint off. Well, let’s just say baby wipes don’t do much. We ended up having to splash water over me, and then I had to have a shower to scrub the rest off.
I have an obsession with shoots that make me feel like a space babe. But I think our next shoot won’t involve paint. We will aim for something a little different. Plus a multi with @foxieheart is in the works, which we need to organise too.
I hope you enjoy the sneak peek into my day. Stay tuned for photos! Our catch phrase of the day was ‘don’t worry, it’s non toxic’. I’ll post a cute video regarding that soon 😏
@missy and @rambo I hope you like space babes!
