Trying to do my dissertations, Should we be building upwards or outwards? Thats the general gist of it, problem is i'm just dossing.

On the upside i re-soldered the connections on my Quad amp and it now works a treat, oh and a Brainfreeze DVD arrived in the post today, very cool, Shadow and co holding it down.

It's going to be about the reverse engineering, Nanoloop for the gameboy turns it into a step-sequencer, providing all the power of the gameboy soundchip to you the creative.

Had to queue for 2 hours but Dj Shadow was amazing, hard gritty funk from some very obscure sources (i knew one track .. Larry Ellis and the Black Hammer - Do Your Funky Thing pt.2).

Kenny Dope was good but not great, nice skills on the drops but played some rather weird twisted disco stuff from 74-78, it's the way the scenes going apparantally...

Russian Vogue party was shite, lots of pretentious idiots with too much bloody money.

Tonight is going to be a better affair, DeepFunk 10th birthday. Dj Shadow, Kenny Dope and Keb Darge playing deep funk from their rather large collections. Shadow rarely plays deep funk sets, i'm excited.

Im going to a Russian Vogue party tonight .. I want hot Russian girls. Being partly Russian myself i feel a strange connection, French girls are better in bed .. than anyone, pity English guys have such a bad reputation.

Today i handed in the last essay i shall hopefully write for the next 40 years. I made the deadline with 5 mins to spare, after having one hours sleep. Now i have a headache and i feel a bit sick. Im glad academia is over.
