I don't really have that that much to say. I work full time for a company now. Architectural communications, its amazing, I love architecture and i guess i like communicating. Its my second to perfect job (who do the British Council think they are not inviting me to interview!!).
Job means record buying is full steam ahead. Last thing to come through the mail was "Electro Harmonix Work Band - State of the Art Electronic Devices". Its basically a promo record showcaseing some effects pedals which have names like Big Muff Pi, Doctor Q, Octave Multiplexer and most amusingly "Golden Throat". Needless to say these pedals are amazing (im on the look out for a Big Muff Pi, if you've got one please contact me ..... im serious its a top distortion unit) and the band just jam out in a weird kind of proto-disco tip, very Italian but somehow funkier.
Oh and at last I am the proud owner of a copy of the Moon People - Hippy Skippy Moon Strut. Been looking for one for 4 years odd now. http://www.funk45.com/rm/moon_people_-_hippy,_skippy,_moon_strut.ram
Have a listen, how can you resist someone shouting "moon strut .. hippy strut" over a stupidly tough breakbeat, i couldn't.
Will try to update a little more frequentally, this is more of a message to myself as no one ever reads my journal.

ehme:
hey.....yeah, that's me in the profile, but not my collection I wish!!! It belongs to clovesbud, who has the raddest collection of vinyl i've ever seen (and there is way more that you can't see in the picture!!) He is a never ending wealth of knowledge and good taste when it comes to anything musical.....he's also a super rad guy, and married to my best friend...I'm slowly gaining total musical bliss from him and mtlqueen by osmosis!!! I have a pretty good collection myself...which is always growing...usually faster than my bank account!!!
