Hello everyone! Today, I want to share with you some of the most significant concerts I've had the privilege of attending. Live music is something that fills my soul and brings me immense joy. Although the initial question was about my first concert, my most recent concert, and the upcoming one I'll be attending, I got so carried away that I decided to also share some other memorable moments from my journey as a music lover, singer, and music enthusiast.
I vividly remember my first concert as a teenager when I was 14 years old. I went to see Cradle of Filth with my best friend, Vane, at the Caupolicán Theater on December 16, 2010. At that time, they were releasing a new album that featured a song I loved, "Forgive me Father." However, my experience wasn't perfect as I spent half of the concert in less than ideal conditions. The day before, my father had decided to have my wisdom teeth extracted, leaving me in pain and requiring me to take painkillers and antibiotics. To make matters worse, I made the poor decision of drinking a few beers that day. It was a flawed decision from start to finish, and I ended up with alcohol poisoning due to the combination of medications and alcohol. Despite it all, I managed to enjoy a bit when they played the song I loved.
Following that concert, there came a concert that I consider as the first one I truly enjoyed from beginning to end: Iron Maiden in 2011 at the National Stadium in Chile. I went with my friend, who was a Maiden fan, and I decided to accompany her so she wouldn't go alone. At that time, I didn't know much about the band, and they didn't particularly catch my attention. However, that concert became one of the best in my life. The experience of witnessing Iron Maiden in Chile, in the standing area, with everyone jumping and singing, was spectacular. That day, I became a fan of the band, especially their vocalist, Bruce Dickinson. After that concert, I had the opportunity to see Iron Maiden three more times consecutively: in 2013 with Slayer and Ghost (where I first discovered Ghost), and then in 2016 for "The Book of Souls" tour.
To provide context for my latest concert, we need to go back to 2015. It was a cold July 17th when my cousin, one year younger than me, came from Chiloé to Santiago to see his favorite band at that time: Opeth. They were on tour presenting their latest album, "Pale Communion." Although I didn't know much about the band, my cousin insisted so much that they were amazing and that I should go, so I decided to buy a box seat ticket and accompany him.
On that same day, I received a call from a childhood friend with whom I had reconnected in university, and we were mutually interested in each other. He was also going to the concert with a friend, but he surprised me when he offered his standing area ticket and said, 'Here, take my ticket, and I'll meet you in the standing area.' I was astonished by his gesture and his daring move of literally hanging from the box seat and jumping down to join me. It was one of the most romantic things anyone has done for me. We thoroughly enjoyed that concert, and since then, he has been my partner in life. Together, we haven't missed a single Opeth concert.
And so we arrived at the latest Opeth concert, which took place this year at the same theater. However, this concert was truly special because the Swedes performed one song from each of their musical albums. I can't express enough how amazing it was to hear many of my favorite songs by the band. We had an incredible time, although I must admit that there were still a few songs I wish I had heard. But overall, it was a fantastic experience!

After all these exhilarating experiences, I'll now jump to my upcoming concert: Ghost. I must admit that I didn't know much about the band until they released their latest album, 'Impera.' It was an impeccable album from start to finish, featuring spectacular songs like 'Spellway,' 'Darkness at the Heart of My Love,' and 'Call Me Little Sunshine,' among others. I became a fan of Ghost with this album, and their masterpiece inspired me in creating my senior project as a singer, which I am currently finalizing. In fact, the song 'Call Me Little Sunshine' inspired me to create a piano and vocal arrangement that I am in the process of mixing. I am truly excited to attend their concert in September.
I know I got carried away a bit, and I surely missed many other incredible live music experiences. However, I believe I have summarized the most important moments of my musical journey in this blog.
Wishing you all a wonderful week!
Warm regards."
