But I am home, i still have an IV i get antibiotics and TPN (Food) through it, I also have a drain tube in my back through my ribs and into an abbess my pancreas is secreting.

it hurts to breathe, this is new. but Dr.'s have told me that i am ok. i see a cardoligst fruday to be sure i am not dying, i cant sleep the pain keeps me awake and it seems no amount of drugs relieve this.

This sucks. cant eat, not hungry. when i do force food in its in baby quantities. i am down to 180 lbs from well over 200. Tonight is the last supper, tomorrow is a day of fasting, and Friday at 5:30am they are checking me in for surgery. Hopefully I will be out of the hospital in 5 - 10 days.

I was vegan in the past, for a couple years.
What I try to do is if I'm going to buy something pre-made, is I make sure it's certified vegan.
For the most part, I eat pretty much just raw veggies and fruits, and nuts, etc. So I don't have to worry too much with that kind of thing.
I'm also thinking of getting into doing stuff like baking my own vegan loaves of bread and stuff like that.

just did 3 days in hospital. DKA something type 2 diabetics don't get. this will be a rough 8 weeks
go in for stint replacement on the 23rd

I went in to the hospital on April 27th and was confined there for 18 days. they put a stint in my liver to remove the Simpson yellow tan i was sporting, enough narcotics to make me an addict, and for my but to hurt and bleed.and to make all of this worth the wile they canceled the big operation and reschedule it for July...

my insureance approved this experimental procedure and i hit the table monday may 18th.
i'll bi recovering in the hospital at least a week and 6 - 8 weeks out of the hospital for recovery.

Well I met with the surgeon today. Basically if my Pancreas is producing "enough" insulin they can do this Islet replacement thing. If not then there is no reason to waste $40,000 of my and my Insurance companies money, and they just remove the Pancreas and get me on a donation list.

Yeah, I am hopeless when it comes to that stuff. I can do a lot of things and learn most things quickly but when it comes to my computer (especially for business apps) I am completely lost. Thank god my dad has great support staff.
