¡Oi, Hola, Salut, Здравствуй, and O Hai, Everyone! 🐱
As I was walking home after taking a girlfriend out for sushi (avocado rolls and miso soup, strictly vegan), I stopped to admire this lovely rose 🌹, and I thought of all of my friends here on SG that have been showing their support while I have been sick for the last two weeks. I am finally on the mend, but I’m still not 100%. Most of the energy I have had the last three days has gone to my day job in order to pay the bills, but I have been thinking of you and planning new blogs and posts.
First and foremost, THANK YOU, GRACIAS, БЛАГОДАРЮ ВАС, MERCI BEAUCOUP, e MUITA OBRIGADA for your kind support. The Love you have all shown me is second only to the Love I have for you. 💗💗🤗🤗💋💋💋
I’ve wanted to post new photos for several days, but when one is sick, one’s appearance tends to suffer. However, I’m close enough to my normal self that I wanted to share these minimal makeup pix showing my new pendants. The first one is a Japanese Cat of Auspiciousness, or Maneki Neko, in the form of a silver charm with a tiny chime inside. Like the bold and beautiful @romany, I am a “human cat,” and as such, I have a tendency to move quite silently...and unintentionally scare the living bejesus out of my associates when I step up behind them while they’re working (unintentionally ...most of the time 😇😈). As a result, I purchased this super cute Neko kitty so that I have a “bell on my collar,” so to speak, and can alert them that an invisible, but friendly, presence is near. Hopefully, they’ll stop jumping out of their skin when I arrive at their desks, even when they know I’m coming because they asked for my help!
I wanted to do something fun with my hair for you, too, but if you look closely here, you’ notice my silver roots are starting to show, so I’ll need to touch those up before I try the hairstyle I want for my next photos. Vanity, thy name is Dhyani, lol.
My other new pendant that arrived today is this wonderful daggertail butterfly 🦋! I have a fun dress that I’ve been dying to wear this with. Photos will be shared!
They say that the camera adds ten pounds...in this case, it was to my nose in the top butterfly pendant photo, lol 😆!
I’m starting to work on my other projects again, but I wanted to share what my next major blog and video will be: a number of you have expressed interest in hearing me speak multiple languages, which will be my version of @ojtheviking’s challenge for members and SGs to speak in their native tongue. Personally, I think the most impressive video I’ve seen from this challenge is the one from OJ, himself. 👏 I have been thinking about what I want to say and how to film the video while I was sick, because while I was sufficiently ill that I couldn’t work, I literally had no voice. Now that I can talk again, I look forward to sharing a message in multiple tongues. Unless my health continues to be less than optimal, I should be able to create a video and accompanying blog within the next 10 days. Why so long? Because I also want to share a very beautiful place in my home city with you at the same time, so the conditions for shooting video need to be right, among other things.
Until next time, Much, much Love to you, and have a Wonderful day!!
💗💗🦋🤗💋
