Hello Fabulous People!
I have been wanting to post this blog for a few weeks, but everything is perfect; the amazing rainbow sun above was taken only last Sunday as I walked home from work during what has become an employment marathon (tomorrow is day 10 without a day off). I was inspired to share this blog and its fun photos by @lillynoize, when she posted the name of one of my favorite songs in the Song Title thread in the Silliness Group: “A Change of Seasons” by Dream Theater.
It was only a few short weeks ago that I had to wear a parka to stay warm, and the streets of Spokane were laden with snow. The icicles on my apartment building grew to 15 feet (4,6 meters) in length, and the snow just kept coming. However...
The Sun has finally begun to turn the Pacific Northwest back to its vibrant self once again.
...and the sleeping beauties of the earth are opening their sleepy eyes to view the coming of Spring once again. Even the Moon above the peak of the converted 1900’s hotel where I live seems brighter and more vibrant, awakening the playful, naughty little girl within me...
...and reminding me to “seize the day.” To quote the song named above:
We can learn from the past
But those days are gone
We can hope for the future
BUT THERE MAY NOT BE ONE.
...And that impish smile that I see in the mirror became a reflection of a desire to get a little bit naughtier than ever before, prompting a new mini- set that I hope that you will really enjoy. I’ll need some input from all of you to complete it over the couple of days, but more on that tomorrow. In the meantime, here’s another sneak peek!
