Hi Oi, Hola, Salut, and Здравствуй, Everyone!
Thank you to @Diddydave_uk and @OJtheviking for nominating me for this fun variation on 20 questions. This will be long, so grab a glass of your favorite beverage and enjoy!
1) Do you eat cheese? – I love cheese, and have fond memories of it, but sadly I have developed a number of food sensitivities and allergies, including gluten and dairy products, so I dream of pizza and other common staples, but I refrain from anything made from dairy, especially cheese. 😔
2) Do you drink pop - NO. The carbonation in soda leaches the calcium out of your bones, especially your teeth, high fructose corn syrup makes you fat, aspartame has no nutritional value as an artificial sweetener, and caffeine artificially stimulates the heart. I used to drink Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, and Jolt when I was young. I drank a lot of coffee as well - I was a caffeine junkie. However, I eventually reached a point in my life when I had a health crisis, and it required that I learn to survive without any of the chemical crutches that I had leaned on for support.
3) Do you listen to Nickeback – No. The first Nickelback song I heard was “Rock Star,” which sounded good when I initially heard it - until I listened to the lyrics. The next one was “How You Remind Me,” which was better, but I was still underwhelmed (sorry to any Nickleback fans). I listen to a wide range of music, from Classical on the mellow side to Prog Speed Metal on the manic side, but I don’t restrict myself to one genre of music. I’m currently listening to one of the more underrated albums of 1986, Count 3 And Pray, by Berlin. The final track, “Pink and Velvet,” features a guitar solo by the legendary David Gilmour of Pink Floyd. It was the first guitar solo I became aware of that really turned me on. My nipples are tingling right now!
4) What’s your favorite drink – Chocolate Soy Milk. My health problems have caused me to eliminate almost all common beverages, including caffeinated tea, coffee, and orange juice. I can still drink alcohol, but I am gluten intolerant, so beer is out. I’m allergic to nuts, so almond beverages are also out. Next to the treat of Chocolate Soy milk I drink in the evenings, I drink a LOT of water 💧.
5) How do you like your steak - Alive and mooing! I am a vegan, so I don’t eat meat at all. Again, this is for health reasons and by choice; ironically, my food sensitivity profile indicates that I should do very well on a diet that includes beef and fish, but I just can’t process the stuff. I used to like steak medium-rare. For all that I follow a vegan diet, I am not an extremist; I still wear leather on occasion...hmmm...what occasions might they be?...😈😇 I won’t ever try to convert someone to veganism, but I do recommend that people inform themselves regarding the effects that the mass production of animals for human consumption have on the environment in general.
6) Favorite Anime – That’s easy for me - Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex, both first and second gigs. The first Anime I watched years ago was Robo-Tech. I really need to watch more Anime; I’ve heard some awesome stories!
7) Favorite movie: - Choosing just one favorite film out of hundreds is always a challenge, but I think I can pick one as being my favorite in general, and it will probably surprise a lot of you: The Lake House. It’s a sci-fi romance that is emotionally powerful, visually striking, and intellectually stimulating. Yes, I write science-fiction and horror novels, and yes, I’m also a Goth Rocker chick that happens to draw monsters once in a while. However, I’m still a Galaxy-Class Hopeless Romantic. For those who think I’m getting too soft and girly as I’m getting older, I would point out that one of the main characters in The Lake House is hit by a bus and dies. 💀
8) Morning Routine - 1. Awaken at 7am to the sound of Susanna Hoffs and the Bangles singing “Something That You Said,” one of my favorite songs off “Doll Revolution.” 2. Visit the powder room and take my basal body temp. 3. Head to the kitchen while trying to avoid being bitten on the toes and feet by my hungry cat who is reminding me that I should have fed her FIRST. 4. Feed said hungry cat in order to avoid additional biting and/or scratching. 5. Take my morning thyroid medicine, without which I would be dead in six months, washing it down with a large glass of oxygen/amino acid/trace element infused filtered water. 6. Grab cell phone and return to bed to review morning email, texts, and SG posts and SOTD while waiting for thyroid medicine to be absorbed, while now less hungry cat tries to knead my breasts with feet made of knives or snuggles under my left arm. 7. Have a hearty breakfast of Hemp Hearts granola cereal in vanilla soy milk. 8. Morning spiritual reading and contemplation. 9. Return reluctantly to earth plane, disrobe, brush teeth, and take a warm shower before donning makeup, putting on pre-planned outfit, and doing hair. 10. Provide additional food and water for my cat in order not to be assaulted when I return in the evening. 11. Walk 1.25 miles (2.01 km) to work at day job in secret, hidden back office bank facility. 12. Realize that my morning routine is a blog topic all by itself.
9) Can you swim – Yes, although I don’t do it often, as I am sensitive to chlorine drying out my skin, and I haven’t found any warm weather skinny-dipping natural water sources...yet. Of course, it’s still winter here - new blog with interesting winter photos coming soon.
10) Are you pierced – Not currently. My thyroid condition causes me to heal very slowly, which causes a risk for infection. However, this is improving, and hopefully I can have new ear and nipple piercings done by the end of the year 🤞.
11) How many tattoos do you have – none, sadly. I have ALWAYS loved and wanted tattoos, but could never decide what I wanted to get...until my thyroid problem became a serious issue. Now I know what I want, but I have to wait for my thyroid condition to improve again in order to heal quickly enough. I’ll be starting with a violet butterfly on my lower right leg to cover some scars caused by some evil spider years ago.
12) Are you into ass play - Hmmm...this series of questions is a bit more intimate than the last! With proper cleansing and preparation with the right lover... yes. 😈😄
13) Do you smoke - NO. I learned to smoke when I got out of high school and I smoked all through my university years, but I drastically reduced my cigarette habit due to the pneumonia caused by said habit that I developed in 1992 that caused me to have to quit university and my job in order not to die. I quit smoking my favorite clove cigarettes and all other smokables in 1997. Yes, boys and girls, I’m old. I don’t look as old as I am though, do I?
14) Favorite cartoon character: - If Anime counts, that would be Major Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost In The Shell: SAC. If not, then Cheetara from the Thundercats.
15) Do you enjoy being spanked – ....this is one of those areas where BDSM and sex have a crossover. In BDSM terms, as I have noted in that Group, I am what’s called a ‘switch.’ So... yes, I enjoy being spanked, and if I’m feeling especially frisky and/or energetic, I don’t mind doing a little spanking myself. Hmmm...maybe a leather mini-set is an order, eh? Naughty Girl, thy name is Dhyani. 😈😇😁
16) Three things that turn you on – (suppresses girlish giggle)... I am a very auditory person, so certain auditory stimuli turn me on very easily. 1. The sound of certain music, such as intense, melodic guitar solos (see #3 anti-Nickelback comment) and strong bass lines that stimulate the reproductive and heart chakras get me every time. 2. The sound of a girl’s voice as she is in the throes of pleasure, especially from “cunning linguistics” from me! 3. Being kissed...all over, especially on the back of the neck...oooh! I’m get the shivers just thinking about it.
17) Have you every faked an orgasm - yes. I encountered a girl years ago whose sexual appetite was near the nymphomaniac range...and as fun as it sounds, when sex becomes an obsession, it can suddenly become...well, not so fun.
18) Favorite beach – The beach where @felicity went on vacation, lol! Actually, my favorite beach is on the coast of Oregon near Bandon; it’s too rocky to swim, but the sea cliffs are spectacular, and the sound of the ocean reminds me of the music of the spheres and the impermanence of this silly, little, wet rock.
19) Savory or sweet - both!
20) Favorite position – While reverse cowgirl is fine, and tribbing, divine; my favorite position is...Sixty-nine! Wait...you weren’t talking about sports were you? 🤣
I’d definitely like to read @bookcouple’s responses to these, also @persephonepitstop’s and... @ferkixlll’s ! He’s seen a lot of this life!
Have a WONDERFUL day!!
💗💜🖤
