Caramba! Cmo pasa el tiempo! or, as they say in Latin, "tempus fugit!" Geez, how time flies!
I've been busy the last two weeks, mostly with work. If I haven't been doing my regular inventory job, I've been proofreading my novel in preparation for the next step in the submission process. On top of that, I've been keeping up on my Spanish lessons. I can actually say, "Hablo un poco espaol," and mean it. Jeje!
I have to commend the creators of the Fluenz language programs. I feel like I've learned more Spanish in a few weeks than all the French I learned in a full semester of college. Ahora, yo quiero ir de vacaciones!
Vacation will have to wait, though. My employer is getting ready to bring a new computer system on line that will make a total mess of operations for the next few weeks. After all the bugs are worked out, then I can put in my vacation requests. I've worked for the same company for over ten years, so I get 4 weeks of vacation! I almost wish I could take it all at once!
Well, in the meantime, I need to get to sleep so I can work in the morning!
Hasta luego!
