I have in the last two days received so many messages and friend requests (still working on them), that I'm having trouble responding to everyone, but I answered a message just now that struck me as kind of crucial to this whole endeavor. I was asked, why I want to be a Suicide Girl... And it's a really good question.

Here's me answering:

I wanted to be more comfortable with my body. Showing other people that I'm proud of it makes me feel kind of brave. Putting nude photos of yourself up for criticism is an incredibly humbling thing to do-- not everyone's nice and most of us hopefuls and SGs get our fair share of horrible messages and nasty comments... Watching a percentage go up and down on a set can be heartbreaking... but you live through it and you cheer each other on. Member review's not a contest, it's a stage full of beautiful women. SG's about accepting female sexuality and embracing it. I don't want to be an SG to get the compliments; I want to be a pinup-- an image for other women and men to appreciate and acknowledge as a valid demonstration of what beautiful can be. That's all.

If you think I deserve to be pink, let the staff know and comment on my pictures It really does mean so much to me that you genuinely approve, so keep it coming if you like them I'm not going to keep posting attempts to promote it ... I feel like that not only gets irritating but a good set should speak for itself.
