I am saddened that Toronto Life will no longer publish a summer fiction issue. Now normally Toronto Life is a yuppie rag filled with articles about people dholokov does not know and about things which dholokov cannot afford. But their summer fiction issue was really good and rivalled even the New Yorker (especially when the latter published works of fiction written by its attractive young interns).
They said they had good reason - that the stories didn't have a particularly Toronto feel to them anymore, and the circulation wasn't increasing any. And what were they going to do - pay Margartet Atwood to write a story every year. But I am still

Yeah, I tried. They rejected me. No surprise, not enough friends.
I'll be at the SFX show Saturday, gothed out with my hair dyed red and a black box coat on (Dark City style coat). If the hair dye takes that is.
I posted the show in the Science Fiction group but something inexplicable happened to my event. Dunno.
