I have my laptop back!!! 
Only problem is the hard drive was too damaged to recover and i have lost EVERYTHING!!! Ye it's a bit annoying but I'll get over it and gradually build my laptop back up.
On a better note, I'm just back from a great weekend in London for the Heineken Cup Final!! (European Rugby tournament for those who don't know) Happy out, Leinster won, great match, great night, load of drink! And now to recover.....
