Spring is rearing her head. Persephone descends. My puckish grin begins..Mindless fact: I heart pomegranate and cherry Yoplait yogurt mixed with Kashi's Go Lean Crunch (Honey Almond & Flax), yum!! I eat it everyday Monday through Friday at work. Perhaps that is the part of my persona that has been labeled by my psychiatrist as having "Asperger syndrome". Read more about it here. Sounds like Ass Burgers huh? Like a bad porno. Famous persons associated with Asperger's: Albert Einstein, Sir Isaac Newton, Beethoven, Elvis, Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent van Gogh, Socrates, Socrates, Tom Hanks, Abe Lincoln, Marilyn Monroe, Virginia Woolf, Shakespeare, and the list goes on and on..
Another mindless fact: I live in what can only be described as a perpetual blonde moment. Another mindless fact, I am a Buddhist. I am also quite randomn. Lol.
That said, I just came back from a teaching on the view of self, or absence thereof.. Here is a direct quote from Lama Yeshe Gyamtso who quoted Tranga Rinpoche. "We are terrified of the one thing we have no reason to fear. That our mind's are overwhelmed by the intensity of their own lucidity, (their own experience). That overwhelming experience causes us to be unaware of minds emptiness." Pretty deep huh? He continued by saying, "The mind, overwhelmed by it's own cognitive lucidity is unaware of it's own emptiness..threatened by that, we think 'self' and 'others'". Finally, the Pice de rsistance, "Ananda, that which is called 'self' is extreme. Ananda, that which is called 'non-self' is extreme. Ananda, do not abide in extremes..". One word. Wowza!!
