FOR___________
I've noticed you notice me noticing you.
Am i a fool for this-(or you?)
What i see in your eyes may only be
The reflection of my own.
But i can't help but look,
And think so softly to myself
So you won't hear me.
I teeter on the edge of your smile,
Delicately balancing caution and curiosity.
The risk of uncertainty taints first flight.
Nervous anticipation keeps me blind and grounded.
I've not yet felt the leap-
Push me over,
Let me fall so i might see you close
Behind me,
Hurling after.
