Cigarette Life Span (poem)
My life: a cigarette
All wrapped in paper
My life: a cigarette
I live through a filter
I look for an open flame
Somethig to light me
I want to catch on fire
But I only slow burn, slow burn, slow burn
My life: a cigarette
I guess livings a habit
Don't want to kick it now
I gotta have it, have it, have it
Every breath I breath; a drag
It just leaves more ashes
Flick off a few more ties
But I'm still breathless
Don't know how I got here
But I kinda like it
I know it's no good
But lifes a habit, habit, habit
My life: a cigarette
Dry nicatine and cloves
Gladly exchange dirty looks
For breathing fire and smoke
My life: a cigarette
All wrapped in paper
My life: a cigarette
I live through a filter
I look for an open flame
Somethig to light me
I want to catch on fire
But I only slow burn, slow burn, slow burn
My life: a cigarette
I guess livings a habit
Don't want to kick it now
I gotta have it, have it, have it
Every breath I breath; a drag
It just leaves more ashes
Flick off a few more ties
But I'm still breathless
Don't know how I got here
But I kinda like it
I know it's no good
But lifes a habit, habit, habit
My life: a cigarette
Dry nicatine and cloves
Gladly exchange dirty looks
For breathing fire and smoke
